Technotreon is undertaking the indigenous design and development of Anti-Drone Technology through the Counter Drone Modular Defence System (CDMD), a high-impact defence solution designed to address the rapidly growing threat posed by miniature drones in tactical and high-sensitivity operational environments. Being developed in alignment with the requirements of the Southern Command, Indian Army, this project reflects our strength in creating mission-adaptive, deployment-ready defence technologies with strong real-world relevance.
The system is designed to deliver a modular soft-kill counter-drone capability, enabling the disruption and neutralisation of hostile aerial threats through a flexible and scalable architecture. CDMD represents not only advanced battlefield innovation but also a commercially promising defence product platform with strong potential for adoption across military forces, homeland security agencies, and strategic asset protection infrastructure.

Technotreon is carrying out the indigenous design and development of the Obstacle Deflection and Derailment Detection (ODD) Device for driverless trains in India, aimed at enhancing railway operational safety and significantly reducing derailment risks arising from track-side obstacles and impact conditions.
Selected under iDEX DISC 10, where Technotreon emerged as a winner, the project stands as a strong validation of our capability to build nationally relevant, scalable technology solutions. The ODD system is conceived as a proactive and field-deployable railway safety mechanism designed to detect, deflect, and mitigate obstacle-related derailment scenarios before they escalate into critical incidents.
With its strong problem-solution fit and direct relevance to railway safety modernization, ODD carries substantial commercialization potential for large-scale deployment across railway networks, autonomous train systems, and other safety-critical mobility infrastructure.

Technotreon is undertaking the indigenous design and development of Anti-Skid Tracks for Army tanks, specifically engineered to enhance the mobility performance of BMP armoured vehicles operating in challenging environments. The system is designed to significantly improve traction, control, and terrain adaptability of armoured platforms across icy, muddy, mountainous, and rugged operational conditions.
This project is being executed under OEM rights granted through iDEX DISC 12, further reinforcing Technotreon’s position as a trusted innovation partner within India’s defence indigenisation ecosystem. The Anti-Skid Track system enhances the operational mobility and grip performance of BMP platforms while supporting the national objective of self-reliant defence capability development under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
This innovation provides the foundation for a high-value military mobility product, with strong lifecycle demand and significant commercialization opportunities across domestic defence forces as well as allied international military markets.
